Say hello to the Red Macaw

In Xcaret’s new image

For those who still doesn’t know Xcaret, we are a Park located at the seashore of Playa del Carmen, Mexico. We receive visitors from all over the world 365 days of the year. Our principal goal is to share a little piece of Mexico through our activities, gastronomy and cultural performances.

Last December 1st we renovated our image by redesigning our logo. Take a look at the changes we made and why we decided it was the best way to share with the world the Park’s essence.

Why was the toucan replaced by the red macaw in our logo?

We are passionate about conserving this beautiful bird in danger of extinction. Our breeding program has allowed us to reintroduce this species in the jungles of Chiapas and Veracruz for over 22 years. Through this initiative, the wildlife population in Mexico has increased by 52% over the last 3 years: an achievement unprecedented because it is an endangered species.

Why we enlarged the word “Mexico”?

We put our heart and soul to share Mexico with the world every day. The new size of the word Mexico in our logo represents the identity we have formed for the last 25 years: Xcaret Park is now an Embassy of Mexico. We present the history, culture and nature of our country to more than 1.3 million visitors yearly.
