For safety reasons, devices such as selfie sticks are prohibited in certain activities. Some activities involve rivers and waterfalls, meaning your camera could get wet. If you don’t have a waterproof camera, we don’t recommend taking it.

With this in mind, your best option is to take an adventure camera, one of those that you can secure directly to your helmet and have your hands free for anything.

On the other hand, your helmet has a chip that activates the park’s cameras to take the photos you want during your visit. You can purchase them at an additional cost. Remember to smile every time you find yourself in a photo spot.

15. How can I purchase the photo package?

You can do it from your arrival at the park. The staff will provide you with the service so that you dedicate yourself to working on your best poses throughout the day whenever you find one of the photo spots.

However, if you don't know if ypu want it from the beginning, but at the end of the adventure you decide that you want to buy the package, you can still purchase the package as long as you posed on the different photo spots during the day. The staff will help you, since the chip in your helmet will link all your photos regardless of whether you bought it in advance or at the end of your visit.

Once purchased, you will have a ticket with a code that you can use on the page http://www.xcaret.photos/. Your photos will appear here for a set amount of time, available for download and saved for posterity.

If you can't download your photos or want to purchase them after your visit, email foto@xcaret.com to make the request, and the photo team will help you. The pictures remain in the database for up to 30 days after the visit.
