You Will Have No Excuse For Not Complying

The Holidays are over, our guest left, all the gifts have been opened: now we are back to reality. One whole year is coming and along with it the promise of fulfilling our New Year’s resolutions. Let’s be honest, it’s the same every year, in January and February our enthusiasm to achieve our goals is very high, but over the months we forget them and this is where the problem begins.

For this year to be different, we recommend you follow these simple tips:

1.- To lose weight.

  • Do at least 20 minutes of exercise per day. It may be in a gym, in the park near your house or in your bedroom if you prefer.
  • Eat healthily. If you have a chance go to a nutritionist to create a diet that fits your needs, if you can’t, something that never fails is to reduce sugars and carbohydrates, include vegetables, fruits and grains in your diet.
  • Get rid of all the junk food you have at home (chips, cookies, sweets, chocolates).

2.- To quit smoking.

  • Start reducing the number of cigarettes per day. If you smoke in a day about twenty cigarettes, for a period of 15 days only smoke 15, to the next 15 days smoke only 10 and so on until you get to one cigar per day and then zero urge to smoke.
  • Stay away from people who smoke and situations that could make you fall.
  • If you get anxiety, chew gum. Remember that exercise helps a lot too.

3.- To save money.

  • Determine an amount of monthly savings.
  • Reduce unnecessary expenses.
  • Divide your expenses and designate an amount for each of them.

4.- To travel more.

  • Buy your travel packages months in advance to the travel date.

5.- To hit the professional goals.

  • First establish the goal that you want to reach and put a death date.
  • Surround yourself with people and situations that benefit your target.
  • Be dedicated and never lose sight of what you want to achieve.

6.- To spend more time with family.

  • Schedule your time. In your calendar always has to be time for people who love you.

  • Make the most of every moment. You don’t need to spend all day with the family,  but make every moment with them worthwhile.

7.- To be a better person.

  • Start with small things like helping at home or support someone at work.
  • Find a cause you are passionate about, researching which institutions exist in your town to support this cause and volunteer for them.

8.- To learn something new.

  • Make a list of things you want to learn, from cooking, play an instrument, to learn a new language and select one of them. Find out which schools and institutions teach them or search tutorials from YouTube or Pinterest.
  • Ask for help or advice from people you know are experts in the activity you chose.

9.-  To find love.

  • Be happy and love yourself from above all things.
  • Play your part making love happen.
  • Open and expand your social circles.

10.- To Read More.

  • Set a time of the day to read and do it.
  • Reduce the hours of television and Internet.
  • Look for books that will be interesting for you.
  • Carry your book with you all the time.

11.- To return to your favorite hobby.

  • Identify that thing that makes you happy and you stopped doing for lack of time.
  • Dedicate one day a week to do that activity you love. Enjoy it to the fullest and share it with your loved ones.

12.- To lose fear.

  • Analyze where it comes from.
  • Stay firm. Surely it will take months or years to make you feel comfortable with the situation that causes you fear, however, to overcome it completely, it’s better to expose yourself to this fear as many times as necessary.
