Every year, dozens of brave canoeists embark on a historical reenactment that revives an ancient Mayan ritual: the pilgrimage to Cozumel to pay tribute to the goddess Ixchel. This event pays tribute to the guardians of the flavor of Mexico: the traditional cooks.
