Six days to explore Mexico’s culinary territory from September 18 to 23, 2026, at Xcaret Hotels.

Xcaret announces the official dates for the Apapaxoa GastroCultural Festival Xcaret 2026, taking place from September 18 to 23, 2026, across its properties: Hotel Xcaret México, Hotel Xcaret Arte, La Casa de la Playa, and select parks.
Conceived as a meeting point between gastronomy, culture, and territory, the project will bring together chefs from the Xcaret Gastronomic Collective along with nationally and internationally renowned guest chefs, articulating experiences and creative processes that engage in dialogue with Mexico’s contemporary identity.

For Xcaret, Apapaxoa means to embrace with the soul—a way of understanding hospitality and culinary expression as acts of closeness, identity, and respect for the land. More than a gastronomic celebration, the project is envisioned as a space for reflection where origin, memory, and creative processes engage with a contemporary perspective.

From this vision, the festival stands as a platform that recognizes diverse disciplines as living expressions of identity—capable of engaging with the present without losing connection to their roots. Among the highlights of the festival, you will find:
Over six days, the Apapaxoa GastroCultural Festival Xcaret 2026 will gather chefs, sommeliers, and creators from the Xcaret Gastronomic Collective, alongside guests from different countries, fostering an exchange of ideas, techniques, and culinary narratives.

While programming details have not yet been revealed, this year’s edition is shaping up to become a space where proposals engage in meaningful dialogue, creative exchange takes center stage, and above all, each participation responds to a clear authorial vision deeply anchored in its territory.
The 2026 edition will take place at Hotel Xcaret Arte as the main venue, with activations at Hotel Xcaret México, La Casa de la Playa, and select Xcaret parks—destinations that allow these experiences to unfold under one cohesive narrative. Each property will contribute its distinct identity and atmosphere to shape a gastrocultural journey that transcends the table.

This ecosystem extends the conversation into different languages—architecture, landscape, ritual, color, and experience—consolidating Apapaxoa as a living platform within the Xcaret universe.
Apapaxoa GastroCultural Festival Xcaret 2026 emerges as a new chapter in the project’s evolution, reaffirming Xcaret’s vision of promoting initiatives that transcend the traditional event format to become long-term cultural platforms.

An invitation to observe, listen, and savor Mexican gastronomy and culture through a contemporary, conscious lens—deeply connected to its time.
