Optional Activities

Xcaret is famous for many things, like for having too many attractions and things to see that you won’t be able to see just in one day. Which is entirely right, it would be impossible to do all the activities, workshops, watching all the shows and art exhibitions in one day. Besides the 50 attractions that your admission already includes, there are 13 activities in Xcaret you shouldn’t miss. All of them have an extra cost, and you can book them before your visit, keep reading and discover more! 

1.- Snorkel Tour

What makes this Snorkel Tour one of a kind, is that you will ride a small boat from Xcaret to an incredible coral reef just 15 minutes away from there, where you will watch tons of fishes, stingrays closely and if you are lucky, you will also see sea turtles! Don’t worry, you don’t have to be a professional swimmer to do this activity, the life jacket is mandatory all the time.

-Duration: 1 h 30 min
-Minimum age required: 4 years (children must know how to swim, with knowledge of snorkeling and accompanied by an adult with paid activity)
-Maximum depth: 6 to 16 ft

2.- Snuba® Bahía

Have you always wanted to dive but have never dared to actually do it? Snuba® is the perfect opportunity to start. It consists of a snorkel-like visor and a diving regulator, with the difference being that the oxygen tank floats on the surface. Before beginning the activity, you will do a small test with the instructor in a small area. He will be there all the time for any question you might have.

-Duration: 1 hour
-Minimum age required: 9 years (children must know how to swim)
-Maximum depth: 23 ft

3.- Snuba® Reef

If you want to take your Snuba® adventure further, we suggest you choose this activity. The main difference with the previous one is that in this one we will take you on a boat to open sea, where you will have the freedom to dive 23 ft deep and explore the marine life like nowhere else. Ideal if you go with friends or your partner!

-Duration: 1 hour
-Minimum age required: 9 years (children must know how to swim)
-Maximum depth: 23 ft

4.- Sea Trek®

If you are not expert swimming, this activity is perfect for you. With Sea Trek® you can walk and breathe under the sea as if you were on the surface. You’ll use a special helmet, designed to breathe underwater. As in all the activities in Xcaret, you will have an instructor who will explain you everything before and who will always be accompanying you. All you have to do is walk and admire the marine fauna up close!

-Schedule: low season 11:30, 12:30, 13:30, 14:30, 15:30 and 16:30. High season: 11:30, 12:30, 13:30, 14:30, 15:30, 16:30 y 17:30 (subject to weather)
-Duration: 40 minutes
-Minimum age required: 8 years (important to try on the helmet, it must adjust well to enjoy the activity)
-Maximum depth:  16.4 ft

5.- Sea Trek® with stingrays

If you love marine life, you must try this kind of Sea Trek®. It is the same breathing system, but this time you will visit the home of Xcaret’s stingrays. Where you will see them up close and interact with this majestic and gentle species. You will not find anything similar in Cancun or Riviera Maya!

-Schedule: from 11:30 a.m. 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m. (subject to weather)
-Duration: 40 minutes
-Minimum age required: 8 years (important to try on the helmet, it must adjust well to enjoy the activity)
-Maximum depth:  50 ft

6.- Sharks! Interactive Adventure

If you are an adventure seeker and animal lover, you will not want to miss this activity. At first sight, sharks can be threatening, but when you start interacting with them, you will realize that they are totally harmless and actually really playful. You will also learn about nurse sharks and swim with them freely.  be going to learn about nurse sharks and swim with them freely.

-Minimum age required: 8 years (in the company of a paying adult, from 15 years of age can make the activity alone)

7.- Stingray Encounter

Also created for animal and snorkeling lovers. In this activity, you will spend time with beautiful stingrays in their habitat in Xcaret. And at the same time, you will learn about them, you will be able to feed them and feel their soft wings as you swim around them. An ideal activity for the whole family!

-Schedule: 11:45, 12:45, 13:45, 14:45, 15:45 and 16:45 (subject to weather)
-Duration: 50 minutes
-Minimum age required: 4 years (under 15 years must be accompanied by an adult)

8.- Adventure Kids

Important information:

-Schedule: 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00 and 15:00 (subject to weather)
-Duration: 40 minutes
-Minimum age required: 4 to 10 years

9.- Adrenalina

One of the most popular activities in Xcaret. A speedboat ride where you will feel how the adrenaline increases up to 90 km/hr with 360° turns, which will take you from one side to another, in a fun and safe way. Adrenalina will be one of the most fun activities you can do on your vacation!

-Duration: 40 minutes
-Minimum age required: 9 years

10.- Xcaret Xclusivo

An activity for wine lovers and one of the best ways to enjoy the Xcaret México Espectacular presentation. With Xcaret Xclusivo you can enjoy reserved seats in the show and a tasting of fine praline seeds, sparkling wine and personalized attention during the performance. Ideal for honeymooners!

Important information:

You can exchange the bottle of sparkling wine with a bottle of white or red wine from the menu, or you can also request a bottle of Möet & Chandon for an additional cost. Kids can enjoy non-alcoholic drinks.

11.- México Espectacular Dinner

Another way to enjoy the show is acquiring this exquisite seven-course dinner. There are no words that can describe the Mexican flavors and essences that you will taste in this delicious dinner, and the best thing is that you will do it from the best seat of the Gran Tlachco. We have a children’s menu and vegetarian or vegan options!

12.- Xpá

If you are a massage and spa days enthusiast, you can not miss this unique activity. In the Xpá of Xcaret, you can choose between different treatments and massages, which you will enjoy in a single scenario: under the waterfalls of the Underground Rivers. A concept that combines the tranquility of the landscape with the physical and mental benefits of massage!

13.- Paraxute

One of the new activities in Xcaret, ideal for people who love heights. In this activity, you can enjoy an exciting experience flying over the Caribbean Sea easily and safely. All you need to do is sit back, relax and admire the incredible scenery!
