About Xenses Insomnia

The concept of Xenses Insomnia is to awaken your senses in a magical show of lights, sounds, aromas, and flavors, creating a surreal atmosphere where you will feel as if you were in your wildest and most fun dreams.

It offers out-of-the-ordinary experiences that will awaken your amazement, taking your imagination beyond the limits, it's time to daydream!

Because you will never be the same after what you will see and feel!

Enjoy a great night with your friends and family, where darkness comes to life in the fun scenarios and tours. Admire the peculiar optical illusions and play of lights that you will find in every corner of the Park. The best part is that it has 135 photo points for you to take the best memories.

What activities can you enjoy?

Now, the answer to the question you were probably asking yourself: What else can I do at Xenses Insomnia?

As I told you before, Xenses Insomnia is the night schedule of Xenses Park, so the activities you will find are the same as in the morning. The ambiance will turn your experiences into something different.

• Pinwheel

This is the center of the Park, from here you can access the Park's store called Obsequiario, where you will find everything you need to enjoy your visit and fun souvenirs to take home to family and friends.

Around it are the entrances to the Routes of Doing and Feeling, and you will also find scenarios with optical illusions that will blow your mind.

Latido and Xenote are the most iconic, and at night they have a different illumination than during the day, they look incredible. Undoubtedly one of the favorite spots to take pictures.

I will tell you the difference between Xenses day and night:

The park is divided into the Route of Doing and the Route of Feeling. Each has different activities to test your senses and concentration.

What can I do in Path of Doing?

Here the attractions will test your balance, and make you feel the adrenaline your body needs with a magical touch in each activity.

• The Village

Have fun at dusk in an illuminated village, where you won't know if you are going up or down, with music that will make you dance, so get ready to keep your balance in a way that will surprise you.

There are 165 meters of picturesque houses, where at night, you will be able to appreciate the interior of each one and have access to three of them.

At the end of The Village, you will find the church, here you will be able to appreciate the sound of the candles that light the place at night, and from far away you will see the sign you were looking for. Welcome to Mexico!

• Breathe

This is one of my favorite parts because at night the experience becomes magical and unforgettable with torches and colored lights that illuminate this delightful resting area. In addition, you can enjoy a show of bubbles that fall from the sky and give calm and happiness while you lie in a hammock.

The new water pool is the extra element that makes Respiro the perfect place to take a break.

You can enjoy it before or after doing the rest of the activities of this Route, as the entrance and exit connect to this place.

• Slip

After going through The Village and the Respiro, it is time for action, and the first activity is the Tobogán, 1.40 meters high and 4 lanes that descend into a pool 1.70 meters deep. It is essential to know how to swim to be able to do this activity since it is not possible to slide with a life vest.

The 92-meter Tobogán's nighttime ride is breathtaking, because the magic of daydreaming is activated by the lights inside that will make this experience one of your favorites, and the water in the pool changes colors as it falls!

• Owl Flight

After feeling the happiness of the previous activities, it's time to fly on a horizontal zip line. This activity is called Bird Flight during the day, and at night it changes its name to Owl Flight because you will have to activate your night vision.

You will be 4 meters high flying through the darkness of the jungle, where you will be able to see something with the help of colored flashes and fireflies. It will be 50 seconds of happiness at a speed of 24 km / h. Free yourself and enjoy the ride!

* For safety reasons, the minimum weight for this activity is 30 kg, a maximum of 136 kg.

• Riverlaxing

Now it's time for a relaxing moment in a river of special salts that defy gravity and allow you to float while you connect with your inner self.

There are 6 lanes with 61 meters of course. It is not necessary to know how to swim because the depth is 60 cm, and it has a temperature of 31°C.

• Sludgerie

At the end of the salt river is Lodorama. A mud river that will cover you from head to toe, the ideal place to pamper your skin and enjoy your sense of touch to the fullest.

It also has 6 lanes and this is a shorter route with 43 m, 60 cm deep, and 28° C temperature.

What can I do in Path of Feeling?

Here you will bring out your bravest side and leave you with your mouth open while you live incredible experiences and optical illusions.

• Way of Dwarfs and Giants

This is the beginning of this fun and surprising route, this corridor is also illuminated at night. Here you can take fun pictures where the Park's cameras will capture the illusion of seeing you as a dwarf or giant, the perspective depends on the eye with which you look at it.

• Xensatorium

If you continue with the tour, you will reach one of the most impressive activities, which from my experience and that of many visitors who already know Xenses, make you value each of your senses.

A tour in complete darkness in which, through perceptions, sensations, aromas, and sounds, you will be able to recognize and feel different ecosystems. You just have to let yourself go by your instinct and enjoy this unusual path!

It has a length of 135 meters of environment made up of desert, sea, grassland, jungle, bridge, forest, mountain, and cavern.

* Due to the nature of the activity, it is only allowed for children over 5 years old and who meet the required height.

• The Eden

When you leave Xensatorium you will find a space of contemplation where you will be able to appreciate the magic of nature through illuminated waterfalls. It will be a great moment to feel harmony and tranquility around you.

Eden is the reward of going through Xensatorium, it is worth it. If you have medical restrictions or don't want to do the activity, you can access this beautiful paradise from another entrance. Everyone can enjoy it!

• Xitric Garden

The part of the flavors and aromas! This garden is located at the exit of Eden, and at night it looks spectacular. The lights that illuminate the trees, combined with the lemon scent are a setting you will want to linger in.

Enjoy a delicious neon-colored lemonade straight from a tree!

• Xnack

Mealtime is also fun at Xenses Insomnia! Xnack is the Park's restaurant, and also, like the other activities, has a change in the evening.

The menu at Xenses at night differs from what you will find in the morning. Here you will find a variety of pizza, red fruit salads, nachos with black pastor, wings, taquiparrilladas, and more options.

Enjoy your dinner in a colorful and creative environment, next to a fountain or aboard an air-conditioned bus, the choice is yours!

• Tips for the day of your visit:

It is important to know how you should be prepared to enjoy these night activities in Playa del Carmen.

The first and most important thing is to bring a bathing suit and water shoes because as you read, you will need them. I also recommend you bring a towel, since the park does not have that service.

If you don't have any of these items, don't worry, you can find them at Obsequiario.

Your cell phone is allowed in all activities except Xensatorium, so ideally you should bring a waterproof case, where you can keep it safe and attached to you.

I also recommend you bring extra money for your food, drinks, snacks, and pictures, as these are not included in your entrance fee.

Last but not least, bring the best attitude to live a night out of the ordinary.
